Established in 1980, Martinborough Vineyard is an icon in New Zealand winemaking history. The first to plant Pinot Noir grapes in the famed region, Martinborough Vineyard produces the finest wines in the New World with a focus on 'Handcrafted Excellence in Wine.' Martinborough Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc shows perfumed aromas of passionfruit and guava and lemon blossom, beautifully balanced against creamy notes from the barrel fermentation.

Aromatics of ripe cherry and hints of oak. Medium bodied with smooth powdery tannins. Lingering savoury finish.

Upon release it is deep ruby in colour. The nose is brimming with vibrant red fruit including plum, raspberry and cherry. There are also hints of spice, vanilla and chocolate, with some underlying savoury notes. The wine is mouth-filling, yet balanced with plush velvety tannins, refreshing acidity and a prolonged finish.

In the Province range, Astrolabe emphasises the varietal intensity created by Marlborough's leafy vineyards, ripe fruit and cool-climate winegrowing conditions. This wine presents with ripe green flavours like passionfruit, blackcurrant leaf and gooseberry. In the palate, it is full and round and finishes dry and lingering. A drier style of Sauvignon Blanc, acidity kept nicely in balance with the alcohol and the very little residual sugar that is there, so it's all about how all these things come together to make a pleasurable whole. Astrolabe craft their wines so that nothing stands out as one singular spike, instead revealing a lovely layering of flavours and aromas that people can keep finding as they spend time savouring the glass.

Floral notes alongside white fleshed peach, pear and all spice characters. The palate displays these same characters in abundance focusing on ripe succulent peach notes, while the mid palate is full, creamy and well textured. The wine has a rich, spice infused finish.

Delivers an appealing bouquet of pipfruit with floral and lychee notes embellished by a subtle hint of oak. The fruity, richly flavoured, off-dry palate signs out on a snappy mineral note.

Being finished in well-aged Irish whiskey barrels adds subtle flavours to this Cabernet Sauvignon without changing the essential characteristics of the grape.

The use of aged Scotch whisky barrels in the finishing of this classic Barossa Shiraz has given the wine additional layers of complexity and smoothness, which combine elegantly with the rich varietal plum, fruit cake and chocolate notes.

Produced from Central Otago fruit this is a wine with spicy red fruits on the nose. Medium bodied with red cherry and currant notes on the palate. Enjoy with all manner of duck dishes.

Aromas of dark fruits and dried herbs with pepper and black olive. Also a hint of coffee. Layers of red and black fruits dominate a juicy and lively palate with good density and a fine texture. A supple wine with a warm and spicy finish.

On the nose, aromas of rich dark fruits fill the glass, supported by a hint of black pepper and winter spice. A generous palate with characters of black cherry and dark chocolate. All of this is supported by opulent, mouth filling tannins which lead to a long finish and plush mouthfeel.

Aromas of freshly crushed peppercorns, roasted capsicum & blackcurrant fill the glass. On the palate there is a generosity of fruit. The notes of dark cacoa and smokey bacon intertwined with velvety tannins lead to a complex finish.
