Individual parcels of Tempranillo and Merlot, grown in Craggy Range's Hawke's Bay Vineyards are carefully selected for balanced flavour and freshness. Harvested, then gently pressed for careful colour and flavour extraction. Brilliant blush rose in colour. Lifted juniper and rosewater perfume with underlying crushed wild berry fragrance. The palate has a textural succulence of raspberry and pomegranate fruits, finely balanced with a savoury phenolic line. Delicious.

Hunter's premium handpicked chardonnay from 30 year old vines and aged in French oak barrels on lees for 12 months. Offshoot Chardonnay displays stone fruit and citrus aromas on the nose, complemented by hints of toasted almonds and subtle vanilla oak. Chalky characters carry through to the palate, where a creamy, elegant mouthfeel integrates seamlessly with fine French oak. This wine shows excellent structure, balanced fruit weight, and a refined, lingering finish. Enjoy now or cellar for up to five years to allow further development and complexity.

Upon release it has a subtle lemon hue. The bouquet is vibrant, an intoxicating assortment of tropical and citrus. Heady aromas of passionfruit and pineapple flirt temptingly against a backdrop of grapefruit, green apple, lemon peel and a hint of gunflint. The mouthfeel is textured yet precise, with a rousing whip of acidity and simmering phenolics that give the wine increased structure and length. A complex and serious Sauvignon Blanc, displaying intense varietal character, a multi- faceted palate, and a long salivating finish.

Aromas of blackberry, ripe plum and cassis lift from the glass, layered with subtle smoky oak spice. The palate is youthful and plush, showing ripe, rounded fruit, fine tannin texture and a gentle line of soft acidity. Utterly moreish, it draws you straight back for another sip.

The McDonald Series wines are an expression of both their fruit and the vision of their namesake winemaker. An aromatic, textural Syrah with a core of rich berry fruit and dark plum, complimented by lifted floral notes, warm spice, liquorice and subtle oak. The palate is medium-weight and supple with a long finish. For quality reasons, this wine is unfined and unfiltered. Decanting is recommended.

Filsell Shiraz is a powerful, dense and structured wine with stylish fruit and texture that drives long and will be a long living wine in years to come. Star anise, juniper and hazel nut liquor flow across dark cherry and continues with chocolate espresso like flavours that combine with dense, tight tannins that show direction and velvet to silky texture that continues driving into a very long and fulfilling finish.

Rockburn's 'hands-off' approach delivers a pure expression of Central Otago to your glass; an expressive nose and deeply fruited palate displaying vibrant notes of red and black cherry, rich mocha and supple, silky tannins leading into a very long finish. Taylor's Fine Ruby a blend of full bodied Port wines aged for around two years in large oak vats in Taylor's cellars, or 'lodges', in Vila Nova de Gaia.

This vibrant wine shows a glorious medley of aromas - passionfruit, persimmon, pear, honeysuckle and a hint of ruby grapefruit. It is rich and finely textured, with great drive through the palate.
