A bright perfumed, supple expression of Marlborough pinot noir from clay hill slopes. The fruit is supported by bright florals of rose and violets with crunchy red berry fruit and dried herb notes. The palate is succulent with alluring red cherry, brown spices and silky fine boned tannins.

Rich red berry aromatics and underlying spice notes fuse with a delicately structured palate layered with hints of cacao, gorgeously pure fruit, subtle oak and silky tannins. Aromas of lemon curd and crushed almonds with supporting notes of grapefruit. There are aromatic notes too, notably Asian lily and citrus blossom. The palate is pure and focused with a line of acidity bring all of the structural components together. Finishing rich and long.

Pale daffodil green yellow in the glass. Vibrant ripe fruit notes on the nose leading into a palate of fresh crusty breadand peach kernel with a finish of river- stone minerality. A wine of individuality and complexity.

Peter Lehmann mentored countless people over his 50-year career and this wine is named in his honour. This limited release Mentor Cabernet Sauvignon is made as the best expression of their Barossa Cabernet of vintage. By drawing fruit from a number of Barossa sub-regions, it displays immense varietal definition with added complexity of fruit from low-yielding old vines matured in French oak barrels.

Bramble, spice and wild herb aromatics sit gently on the nose, then lead to an elegant finely driven mouthfeel, showing poise, freshness and a lingering persistent finish.

Dreadnought Syrah is very classical in style, lifted red fruits with a dark edge of graphite and pepper along with savoury stem derived characters make for an intense and interesting aroma profile. The palate is very linear but vibrant carrying good weight and concentration but also a lively streak from the stem inclusion that makes the finish seem fresh and lithe.
